Moving between abstract and figurative, Victoria's
work is an exploration of the changing facets of life.
Like a haiku, her work can
be experienced as a freeze frame of a moment - often playful, quirky or intriguing.
The
depth of colour draws the observer in to look more deeply and sometimes,
on this closer look, a surprising reflection can be found.

Weekly
Art and Craft Sessions

creative skills in a relaxing, friendly, inspiring environment.

can run from 4 to 10 weeks and can either cover a few activities in depth, or
work with a new activity each week.
Art
Residencies
Usually from 3 months to a year, residencies
enable schools and other groups to work with a professional artist in depth.
The artist will work with teachers and pupils by creating installations, learning
and applying new skills, forming exhibitions, researching and creating from topics
or themes and building links with the community.
For more information
about residencies please contact Victoria.
"Having access
to a professional artist or crafts person is a great opportunity... and can
really inspire and motivate young people to get involved in something that
they might not have had the opportunity to do before."
Helen Bennett
Head
of Arts and Crafts at the Scottish Arts Council
Exploration
workshops
These workshops are particularly designed for
schools and groups who want to use creativity to discover more about a topic
or theme and create a piece of art to bring together and communicate their work.
Larger
scale art-work is created with the school or community centre and highlight important
topics such as respecting each other's differences, creating harmony in communities,
celebrating diversity... or can concern topics such as science, historically
significant events...
Nature
Art
Co-run with forest school trained facilitators, these
workshops look at the importance of our environment, how we can support it,
how we are influenced by it and some of the wonderful creatures and plants
that live in it! All sessions result in a creative piece to remind the participants
of their experience.

"Captivating!
The day went far too quickly, though I was surprised at how much progress
I made for my first attempt. I'll be back for more."
Tamsin Eccles, Bristol
"By
far the most enjoyable art experience I have had. My kids loved it too!"
